This is my 12th year at Hickory Ridge, where I teach a variety of courses in the CTE department, having earned certification in Business as well as Marketing. My background includes several years as a newspaper and magazine editor prior to entering the teaching profession.

After earning a degree in Communications at Appalachian State University, I later earned a degree and teacher certification in English at Salem College, in Winston-Salem. Although I was born in Baltimore and grew up in the Hays community, near North Wilkesboro, I am proud to have lived in Harrisburg for more than 20 years.
