HRHS DECA is excited about the 2024-25 school year. To become a member, fill out the membership form and pay the $65.00 membership fee at the K12 payment center.

Please pay the membership fee on K12 titled DECA membership fee before filling out the membership form. Membership closes September 27th.

Welcome to HRHS DECA!

DECA is an international student organization that prepares emerging leaders for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and business management.

HRHS DECA’s 2024 mission is to support high-achieving students in their cultivation of 21st Century Skills, increase their civic involvement in the Cabarrus County/Harrisburg community, and prepare them for the professional world through experiential learning.

DECA is an amazing experience that provides opportunities for leadership growth, skill development, camaraderie and relationship building, opportunities to serve others through community service, and travel opportunities to compete against other DECA members from all over the world!

HRHS DECA FUN FACTS

The 2022-2023 school year is our 9th year as a DECA Chapter (formed in 2016)
HRHS DECA is a student-led organization, spearheaded by our 9-member officer team that leads our chapter's annual events and initiatives
Our chapter has grown each year and consists of more than 150 members!
We've had 3 HRHS DECA members serve as a State Officer for NC DECA
We've also had 1 HRHS DECA member go on to serve as Executive President of DECA Inc. after high school!
