Hello!

My name is Hanna Lightsey and I am a marketing teacher and DECA advisor at Hickory Ridge.

I come from Cabarrus County Government with 4 years of professional experience in marketing, communications and event planning. I previously managed a store-front retail business for several years, and later, opened my own e-commerce small business in June 2020.

I'm a UNC Charlotte graduate (go 49ers!) with a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies. I'm also a Cabarrus native and graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. 

Over the years, I've learned just how important marketing is to any business/organization and how it impacts everything around us... Marketers can truly change the world! I look forward to another great year of bringing real-world marketing scenarios to the classroom!
