Mrs. Minela Terzic

Hello Bulls!

My name is Minela Terzic and I’m a School Nurse for Hickory Ridge High School.

I started my nursing career as an oncology nurse and loved every minute of it. Being an oncology nurse gave me a whole new perspective on life for which I will be forever grateful. I left oncology when an opportunity to work as an outpatient chemotherapy nurse arrived. Working outpatient hours gave me more time to spend with my family. Right before my school nurse role, I worked as a Case Manager with Primary Care Connect. In the role of a case manager, I helped patients manage their chronic conditions while connecting them to important resources needed to assure long term success.

Although I love being a nurse, I also love being a wife to my husband of almost twenty years and being a mom to our three wonderful kids. I love reading, mountains, and traveling, but most of all; I love spending quality time with my family.

I’m very excited to be a part of Hickory Ridge High School and happy to help our students stay healthy.
