Welcome to Hickory Ridge High School from Mrs. Ashby.

I came to Cabarrus County in January 2005 after graduating from Elon University with a degree in Math Education and Sports Medicine.  I spent 13 years teaching at Mount Pleasant High School and then four years at Rocky River Elementary School.  I am so excited to be back in the high school setting again at Hickory Ridge.  When I am not at school, I can often be found outside with my husband and two children working or playing in the yard.  I also enjoy watching athletic events.

I am very excited about teaching Math 4 and Honors Math 4 this year!  I will be utilizing Canvas for all class materials.  Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions or concerns about your student's progress.
