Mrs. Christy Burton

Welcome! I grew up in Mooresville, NC and graduated from Mooresville Senior High School. I received a North Carolina Teaching Fellows scholarship for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where I completed a B.S. in Biology. Later, I received a M.Ed. in Secondary Science Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and passed National Board Certification. I have been in Cabarrus County my entire teaching career and am an original Bull! I live in Concord with my husband, daughter, and dog. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor recreation including running, kayaking, camping, hiking, and gardening.
